How to marquee any text
Dear reader sometime we saw a text line running from one side to another side. This kind of text animation make our blog more attractive to visitor. Today we will learn how to make any text running from one side to another side. It is called 'Marquee' effect.
There are many way to do this kind of text effect. Actually we need to add some code before a sentence or word. The code will run or alternate any direction mentioned in html code.
1. one side to another side.
<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left">Here is the running text</marquee>
Preview:
In the same way if you change direction="left" 'right' then the text will change it direction. Look at the code below.
If you don't add any direction code then text will run to left side.
code:
<marquee>a text without direction code</marquee>
preview:
In this code only 'marquee' is written at the start side of text.

Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx LTS review
Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx LTS released at 29th April 2010. My bad luck I got it in my hand only 2 days ago. Now I have installed Ubuntu in my computer and start to surf on the sky. What a speed! I love it. Actually I have never ever feel so comfortable before using any operating system. Last 28th April every “BUNTU” were waited for Lucid. I also. But I wait more 2 days. Because I know that thousands of person will start to download Lucid at the same time. I can not get any chance to enter in crowd. My internet line speed is very slow. At last I am able to finish download of Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx LTS after 7 days trying. Seconds after complete I burnt the iso file to a blank disk and restart. I didn't see any preview in live CD mode. I know what it is going to be.Ah!!!! what a fast operating system it is!!!!!!!! Complete install in 16 minutes. From beep to desktop it taking only 9 seconds. Actually I want to use Ubuntu Lucid for 3 years. It is a LTS that means Long Term Support. I want to see the changes step by step.
I am writing this review in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx mode. I saw some changes which I want to share with you.
Show My computer Recycle Bin in desktop on Ubuntu
I have completed downloading of Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx). Before writing a review I want to tell you a little tweaks. Normally there is no any 'My computer', 'My documents', 'Recycle Bin' in Ubuntu desktop. We can show them all doing a little trick.
Now 'My computer', 'My Home' and 'Trash' icons are showing in my Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx desktop.
- First of all Press Alt+F2 at a time.
- Run Applications window is opened.

- Type "gconf-editor" and press enter or click on 'Run' button.
- Clicking on 'Run' button, "Configuration Editor" will open.
- Here I went to "apps/nautilus/desktop"
- Now time to change some default settings
- Look at the image. At the right side I have changed some settings.
- To show 'My computer' in desktop I double click on <no value> a new window opened.
- In the 'Type' field I changed it to 'String' and write my desired name in 'Value' field and pressed OK.
- Then I ticked on the 'Computer icon visible' check-box.
- In this way I changed all the key name.
- At last I remove tick from 'volumes visible' check-box. Removing tick mark from here I disable showing a mounted drive in desktop.
